Elevator Pitch: Max is a bit distressed when his girlfriend Evelyn moves into his flat and starts remodelling it. He works in a horror memorabilia shop where he receives a small demon totem, which unkown to them both as, Max and Evelyn pledge to stay together for ever, grants that wish. But actually Max wants to dump Evelyn and is relieved when she is killed in a traffic accident; he moves on to dating Olivia the charming owner of an icecream parlour. So when Evelyn comes back from the dead, now a zombe, and wants to resume their relationship what can he do. Well, decapitating her would be a start.
Content: There is no nudity although it is implied that sex has just taken place or is about to take place. Evelyn redecorates Max’s flat, removing all his old film posters and replacing them with decorarive baskets. Max works a bit in his shop selling that sort of Goth stuff. Many scenes of Evelyn, now a zombie, attempting to get Max to have sex with her. Max tries to get his half brother, Travis, to help him dispose of Evelyn. At first Travis refuses but then agrees with mixed results.
A View: There are a lot of low budget movies out there and, surprisingly, quite a few of them make it to our TV set. Some are absolutely terrible and you feel that they are made on the basis of nothing more than the concept and they make it up as they go along, but others achieve something, and this is one. The idea of a zombie wanting to resume a sexual relationship with her chosen mate was good fun, and unusual and the actors did well. So despite the negative reviews and the low budget, probably worth a view.
Additional Info: Because of financial constraints the whole thing was shot in 20 days.
