Elevator Pitch |
In an alternative present a number of organisations are working on artificial intelligence, and a terrorist cell is working against them. When the leader of one group is shot with a contaminated bullet and therefore is bound to die, he and his friends work to transfer his mind into a electronic neural network. When they are successful they realise that there may be no limit to his control of the world as they know it. |
Content |
People work on keyboards in laboratories, and then take residence out in a tiny desert town and develop a vast underground pristine environment. There is some gunfire, and occasional explosions. No nudity, sex, drugs, drinking or bad language and hardly any violence. |
A View |
This outing was panned by nearly everybody, and I vaguely remember the overwhelming view when it came out, but it was not that bad. If for nothing else the photography was worth more than one star. The New Mexico desert is terrific. It cost $100 million, and seems to have just covered its costs. I am a bit of a fan of artificial intelligence so it was fine for me. |
