Elevator Pitch
Bridget is in a relationship with Mark Darcy and has a job as a TV presenter, featured on the basis of her ability to cock things up. She believes Mark is being unfaithful and they end up at odds. Meanwhile she is given the job of going to Thailand with Daniel Cleaver who still has designs on her, where she ends up in jail. Who will save her?
Content
A whole lot of stuff with Bridget doing silly things and getting involved in accidents and incidents. Just a bit of entertaining dialogue. A fairly lengthy fight between Mark and Daniel.
A View
Considering the pedigree of the writers it is a wonder they could not make more of this. Whatever success it achieved depended on the ability of the actors, sadly not really including Miss Zellweger. I laughed once at the exchange between Daniel and Jeremy Paxman.
