Elevator Pitch |
Two friends on the verge of desitution meet a couple apparently with unlimited money, and the man with the cash offers them rewards for taking part in pretty harmless competitions. But as time passes and they find themselves in the millionair couple’s apartment the competitions become more extreme and the stakes get higher. What is the couple’s objective and how will it all end? |
Content |
Quite a bit of drinking and drug taking. Some sex, but no nudity although some strippers in underwear and what look like Vargas pictures on the walls of the apartment. More and more extreme violence as time passes. |
A View |
This is billed as a comedy, but actually it becomes difficult to watch – probably a credit to the director, and maybe because of that, loved by the critics. It only cost $200,000 but did not make its money back. Shown only in 2 cinemas in Spain and withdrawn from one after two days. For its opening weekend in USA it was also only shown on 2 screens. Go for it if you have a strong stomach. |
