A number of spectacular set pieces as the boat makes its way from the river estuary to the upper reaches. These include the spectacular helicopter attack on a Vietnamese village, a confrontation with a tiger, a battle around a broken bridge and finally the colonel’s camp itself. |
A View |
I only critique films I have just watched, so this has been my upteenth viewing of this production. It was still breathtaking, or possiby more breathtaking on our HD TV. If you have not seen it go for it soon, or maybe choose the Redux version which came out at the beginning of this century. |
