Elevator Pitch |
A potential US senator who may be even more goes a bit off the rails, so a group of mysterious men arrange for him to have a brief involvement with a ballet dancer, to set him back on track. But against their wishes and despite their efforts to dissuade him, he searches New York for her. |
Content |
This film actually corrects a defect in the plot of the short story, and has the conceit of allowing people to pass from one area to another through magic doors which is good fun. A fun romance “for all the family”. |
A View |
I have always been a Phillip K Dick fan, and this story is as good a transfer to the big screen as you can get. |
