Elevator Pitch |
A third generation cobbler in the Lower East Side of New York, finds himself able to take on the appearance of his customers if he puts their shoes on. Taking on the appearance of a black gangster he becomes involved in an assassination plot, and more. |
Content |
The cobbler is a mild mannered man living with his mum. Some tension therefore when he becomes the gangster. Some complex substitutions since the cobbler carries a bag of shoes. One person is killed, one violent scene, one almost nude scene but no drinking sex, or drugs. |
A View |
The critics hated this and the general public did not much like it either, but it is not offensive although the climax and the final reveal tax us a bit. Since I do not choose to make a critical selection I can always say I have seen worse and I have. A watch for nothing while doing something else. |
