A woman with a past which includes martial arts training marries well, and she and her rich husband go to a Carribean island on honeymoon. But a zip line accident results in the husband being taken hostage, and his wife with the task of finding him, abandoned by his family and obstructed by the police. |
Content |
There is a lot of martial arts and other violence, some of it quite unpleasant. A lot of local colour, apparently in Puerto Rico. A bit of limited and non- revelatory sex. No nudity (although the eagle eyed content advisory apparently saw a breast). |
A View |
I count the producers sometimes. There were 23 for this film, but even so it apparently never made general release. I liked the director’s use of hand held and other types of camera, and enjoyed the barrios of Puerto Rico. The critics did not like it, but it is a fairly painless way of passing a couple of hours if you like action movies. |
