Elevator Pitch |
A country policeman on the west coast of Ireland has his own sense of right and wrong. This involves paying prostitutes and returning a cache of arms to a terrorist group (although keeping some). But it does not extend to taking bribes to look the other way by big time drug smugglers and so he is eventually forced to face up to them with a black FBI agent who is also on the case. |
Content |
Some violence and shootings, a car crash and in the prostitutes scene the ladies strip to their underwear – but really not in an erotic way, |
A View |
Because of the Brendan Gleeson character this film is pretty watchable – just an alternative view of honesty and integrity, which makes a change. Mark Strong, as one of the drug smugglers has some good lines, as he complains about the quality of the people he has to deal with. |
