Elevator Pitch |
When one of the sons of Ellen Brody, the widow of former sherrif of Amity is killed by a shark she tries to ban the other son from his work as a marine biologist. He refuses and continues to work on a project in the Bahamas. The family follow him there and so does the shark where confrontations take place. |
Content |
There is a bit of romancing between the widow and a local pilot. Much time spent under water as the shark menaces people on the surface and swimming. Some blood as people are eaten, but nothing else to cause offence I don’t think. |
A View |
One of the films to get 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, but you might want to see it to complete the set so to speak. Actually I quite liked the obviously mechanical sharks, but that’s not a good enough reason to watch it so if you are not a “Jaws” franchise fan give it a miss. |
