Harrison Ford, Annette Bening, Donald Moffat, John Leguizamo, J.J. Abrams |
Elevator Pitch |
An ambitious criminal lawyer is shot in the head while out purchasing a packet of cigarettes and must relearn everything about life with the assistance of a therapist. He has to accept that he has a wife and daughter, but unknown to him he has been having an affair and so has his wife. But now he is a new person and may be able to rebuild his life and that of his family. |
Content |
A lot of scenes in the hospital as he goes through the problems of recovery, and then many moments of distress and humour as he dips his toe into aspects of his previous life and must confront the sort of person he used to be. There is just a bit of implied sex and some drinking. |
A View |
Harrison Ford was well thought of for his role, which seemed to mostly consist of a change of hairstyle, before and after, and quite a bit of the plot was either not pursued, or cut from the final version. It is really simple stuff so you could watch it while doing something else. |
