Summary: Three friends who are in rehab for drug problems (one assumes as a requirement of a court intervention) find that their days are being repeated. When they wake up it is always Wednesday. The three, Kyle, Sonia and Michael have emotional problems to settle, Kyle with his sister, Sonia with her father who is dying in hospital and Michael with his father who is in jail. As the days repeat they get closer to settling these problems, but they also begin to expand their activities since they are aware that no matter what the day will repeat. They raid a booze shop and take risks, Sonia apparently dying in a fall into a dam. Michael becomes violent shooting people and raping Kyle’s sister’s friend, and no matter what, despite Kyle’s attempts to restrain him things get steadily worse, eventually Michael forcing Kyle to cut the throat of a drug dealer. But what will happen if the looping comes to an end?

Content: No sex or nudity. The rape is talked about rather than featured. The trio drink a lot and smoke constantly. To start with we see them congregating for breakfast during which exactly the same events occur. We see the three of them attempting to match up their relationships with their relatives, mainly unsuccessfully. Their uncivilised activities once they realise that nothing is going to happen to them are featured, and there is violence once hand guns become involved, Michael in particular shooting policemen.

A View: Nobody much liked this outing, amongst its limited areas of release. Only five critics reviewed it and there is only one item of Trivia on IMDb. Mission British Columbia looks quite interesting,, but lets face it, there are a lot worse out there. So this is a film for those who enjoy time loop stuff, but it is not worth paying any money for and you might want to have your knitting to hand.

Other time loop films more worth a view include The Edge of Tomorrow, Retroactive and of course Looper.
