The strap line “Now his next target is hunting him” is absolutely incorrect. It’s just intended to appeal to those of us who quite like Resident Evil. |
Director |
James McTeigue |
Starring |
Milla Jovovich, Dylan McDermott, Francis de la Tour, Pierce Brosnan, Anglea Bassett |
Elevator Pitch |
A security analyst at the US Embassy in London prevents the issuing of a visa to a potential terrorist and as a result is targeted by an assassin working for the underground organisation. She ends up on the run from the asassin, the US security authorities and the British police, while still trying to prevent the terrorist plot being put into effect in New York. |
Content |
The heroine spends most of the film being chased through the streets of London, quite a bit of the time wearing high heels. I was concerned for her ankles. There are explosions and some gunfire with hand guns and longer range weapons. No nudity or sex, or drinking or drug taking. |
A View |
Probably a well meaning outing which is just a bit tedious, since it is a one track event, with virtually no character development. Even though we might like the main protagonists, best choose something else with them in, there’s a lot out there. |
