Elevator Pitch |
When an oil rig drills into a volcano, an extreme weather event is triggered, threatening the whole of the adjacent American coast. Can a female meteorologist on a support vessel lead a small team into overcoming the tornado? |
Content |
A whole succession of poorly linked scenes, on the drill floor of the rig, on the deck and the bridge of the ship, on the adjacent coast as the protagonists drive about and in the military headquarters as a couple of officers are stunned by what is happening. |
A View |
I think a bit of this outing was cut in the version I watched, but it hardly mattered. The special effects were alarmingly bad. The ship used was mostly a WWII Victory ship (tied up in a maritime museum we must assume), and the dialogue was distressing. I’m setting up a new heading “Don’t See” prompted by this terrible film which was straight to video and download. |
