||A witness protection expert has to protect a young woman who has gone to the FBI with information about the illegal sale of advances firearms to the Russian mafia. He takes on the task but finds that he is having to protect the witness agains traitors in his own department, and so has to call on former criminals he has helped for assistance.
||Numerous set pieces with hand guns, machine guns and other weapons, some quite ingenious. The gun being sold, known as a “rail gun” particularly impressive. AS has to do the falling parachute and skydiving trick and avoid an aircraft, plus a memorable fight in a zoo which involves alligators. No drinking, drugs, sex or nudity but quite a bit of fun.
||I’ve seen some pretty turgid stuff recently and so really enjoyed this. Slightly uneven in parts with plot holes. It was expensive for 1996 but made money so if you like action movies this will do, particularly if available for nothing.
