Back in prehistory some Decepticons? hide a super machine in a pyramid. Now in the alternative present they are trying to find it, and the Autobots, siding with the humans are trying to stop them. Sam Witwicky and his girfriend and his parents end up being chased by the Decepticons, and Optimus Prime is killed. Their only chance of saving the earth is to restore him to life, can they do it? |

An almost continuous procession of set pieces as the machines fight each other and the humans either run away or join in with a variety of weapons. Almost continuous explosions battles and “hand to hand” fights between the machines. No nudity, no sex, no drinking but some drug taking. |
A View |
I could not believe that this was going to go on for two and a half hours, but it did. Probably a watch for 14 year old boys, and no-one else. It cost $200 million with an additional $150 million for publicity and it made a lot of money. Won a number of Razzies in 2010 including Worst Director, Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay and Worst Actress. |
