||The first “Night in the Museum”
||Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon
||Characters: Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon
||Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria, Christopher Guest, Alain Chabat, StevenCoogan, Ricky Gervais, Bill Hader, Jonah Hill
||The NY Museum of Natural History, with its lively exhibits (See the first film) is being reconfigured and the exhibits are being shipped to storage in the Smithsonian. Larry, now a successful enterpeneur follows them. They come to life again, and more, this time an evil Egyptian wishes to unleash the fiends of the underworld. Can he be stopped, and can the exhibits be restored to their home?
||A lot more CGI activity, but this time quite a lot of jokes involving the evil Egyptian and some romance between Larry and Amelia Earhart (As in the first film you have to remember that these exhibits are actually waxworks). Some mild violence, no sex, drugs, nudity or anything else to offend.
||This script discarded nearly all the ingenuity of the first film in favour of a number of extravagant set pieces, but you might watch it for nothing. There are a few laughs. It was not much liked by anybody but it covered its very high costs.
