Elevator Pitch |
A young woman who cleans toilets for a living becomes the object of a battle between members of an inter-galactic royal family. She is captured and then protected by an alien mercenary, but despite his abilities she is inexorably moved towards her fate as the protector of earth. (I had to read the synopsis for this). |
Content |
A load of set pieces on earth, in the alien capital city, on space ships and in what is apparently a refinery on Jupiter. Space ships disemble and reassemble, buildings tower, things explode. Much gunfire with space weapons and a load of swooping about in the air. Very little nudity of any sort or anything else to make it a 12A. |
A View |
I liked some of the characters, particularly the lizard men but overall it was unwatchable and it was nominated in virtually all categories of the Razzies. I kept thinking that it was a poor re-imagining of Flash Gordon. In all a tedious two hours. |
