Elevator Pitch Hobbs, the FBI man, needs help from the gang of street drivers to take down a group of villains who are constructing a device with which they will hold the world to ransom. With only one item to find and four days to do it the villains are on the case, but are being chased by the heroes towards a showdown on the roads of Spain.
Content A continuous succession of set pieces, alternating shoot-outs and hand to hand combat with car chases round the streets of London, the highways of Spain and finally an extremely long military airport runway. A lot of violence, no nudity, but on one occasion what is effectively the franchise trademark of scantily dressed young women at a street car race.
A View Well, if this sort of stuff lights your fire you’ll probably enjoy it. I admit to liking what appeared to be armoured formula 1 cars, but for me the set pieces were far too long and the acting distressingly wooden. So unless you really like this franchise maybe give it a miss.
