Kung Fu Panda

Released 2008 Rating PG in UK
Director Mark Osborne, John Stevenson Writer/s Jonathan Aibel, Glenn Berger
Starring Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogan, Lucy Lui
Source of story An original screenplay
Elevator Pitch An obese panda with a dream of becoming a kung fu master is accidentally chosen to be the “dragon warrior”, and as a result he must face an evil snow leopard, only saving the village if he is victorius in mortal combat.
Content Many Kung fu battles during training and in the final climax, as well as scenes of cartoon violence as the other kung fu experts face up to the villain.
A View I expect that young children might like this since they would probably readily accept the differences in the animals, typically the fact that the panda’s dad is a goose. Each of the kung fu animals is apparently the style of a kung fu. The film took 4 years to make and cost an eye watering $130,000,000. It has been followed by two sequels. But I did not like it much.
