In a future where law and order has broken down a former mercenary is hired to take a young woman from central asia to New York for reasons which only become clear when they arrive, and find that the job is not over.

Lots of shoot outs, explosions, missiles etc, but well presented scenes particularly in Russia as the group make their way towards the Barents Sea.
A View
If you enjoy a bit of dystopian future stuff this film fits the bill pretty well. Vin Diesel may not be much of an actor, but he does not have to be. Apparently it was not much liked, but it made money.
