Elevator Pitch |
An American heiress falls for a mysterious Englishman who whisks her off to his Gothic castle on the English moors where she finds herself being plagued by ghosts. Meanwhile her husband is spending her fortune on a futile attempt to build a machine to mine the red ore on which the castle stands. |
Content |
Ghosts pop out of the woodwork, the grounds run red, the castle creaks and groans and incest is implied between the Englishman and his sister. |
A View |
The castle is fantastic, and outperforms everything else available. Otherwise just a bit run of the mill although maybe worth a watch, particularly if you don’t have to pay for it. |
