An original screenplay
A couple in the middle of a divorce get together to take their three children to a family gathering in Scotland, hoping to conceal their imminent separation from everyone attending.
Lots of dialogue, parents argue, children are cute, a slightly unsettling event occurs.
Much of this film is fun, particularly the parents arguing and the children being charming, but half way through it takes a slightly sombre turn with some frankly impossible logisitics, and I got a bit caught up with that. It won a prize at the Valladolid film festival. Andy Hamilton is the sharpest knife in the drawer!
