Elevator Pitch |
The planet on which the alien eggs were found has been colonised, but contact with it has been lost. A team of marines assisted by Ripley (the only survivor from the Nostromo), recently rescued from cryogenic sleep, are sent to sort things out. The team also includes an android and someone who wants to harness the alien biology. |
Content |
There is hardly a moment in this film where you are not on the edge of your seat. Despite their confidence, strength and firepower the marines are no match for the aliens. |
A View |
This is quite a different movie from Alien, but it is still full of exciting scenes. There is a moment when the shuttle rises into view as Ripley stands on the space port, much copied in later action films. |
