Elevator Pitch |
In the future humans, led by John Connor, are battling with the machines which have taken over the planet, so in order to eliminate him, they send a cyborg back in time to kill his mother. To protect her a human is also sent back, but they are hardly a match for the Terminator |
Content |
Lots of tension and frequent well orchestrated violence, some aspects of which have entered the collective movie memory. |
A View |
A gripping story, with the humans attempting to survive despite the superior skills of the Terminator. Well worth a watch, particularly if you have not seen it before. Don’t be put off by later inferior sequels (I’m rereading this and actually all the sequels have something going for them – except for Terminator 5: Genisis). |
