Elevator Pitch: When a disasterous flesh eating virus is distributed via the bottle water supply to the town of Springfield blood and gore is bound to be the result. Things come to a head at the local college prom night when people drink the water, and punch is made up using it which is drunk by the students. As they begin to have bits of them fall off spraying blood about the place, a group of uniformed and armed men lock the doors and start to kill everybody. A couple may escape by running away.
Content: There is a bit of nudity and some sexual acts including an obviously infected young woman giving a boy a blow job with dreadful results. A policeman, who was apparently in the first film, recognising what is happening and tries to get away. The possible hero of the piece has to cut his hand off to prevent the infection spreading. The armed and uniformed men, said by a commentary to be some sort of contegian prevention squad, kill everybody they can find.
A View: This film was unrated by Rotten Tomatoes and was generally disliked by everybody, including the director, who tried to have his name removed from the final result, which he clamed had been cut apart by the producers, but he was not allowed to be “Alan Smithee” because he was not a member of the Director’s Guild of America. This film is no “so bad it’s good” it is so bad that it is DON’T SEE on this site.
Additional Info: It was two years between the film beign completed and it appearing in theatres. No surprise.
