Numerous set pieces in the video environment which often resemble the sets of films, one assumes because they are imagined by the participants. Time spent in the on-line archive where the participants can view scenes from the life of the creator of Oasis. Occasional visits to the real world, the Stacks and the corporate offices and establishments of the evil corporation. |
A View |
Well, I remember the 80s, the era featured in the game, quite well but still many of the references eluded me, and people laughed at stuff I completely missed in the screen where I saw it. I kept being reminded of something as I watched the characters playing the game (in the real world) and overnight it came to me – The Gunmen of the Apocalypse episode of Red Dwarf. In the end I don’t think it is quite the masterpiece it is purported to be, but like the book, probably enjoyed by a younger audience. |
