||An original screenplay using the characters from the previous Hangover movies.
||Todd Phillips, Craig Mazin (characters by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore)
||The four main actors were apparently paid $15 million each maybe accounting for the stunning cost of the movie.
||Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, John Goodman, Melissa McCarthy, Jeffrey Tambour, Heather Graham, Mike Epps
||The guys are forced by a mafia boss to go after the elusive Mr Chow who has stolen some gold bars from him, and are scammed into stealing further gold bars, resulting in them having to pursue the thief into the glitzy wonderland of Las Vegas and specifically the penthouse of Caezars Palace (sic). Will they be successful and so have their friend who is being held hostage returned?
||There is a prison riot, quite a bit of chasing about in cars, some tension with the mafia boss, a slightly odd but important scene in a pawn shop, the invasion of the hotel penthouse, which involves some brief nudity and implications that drinking has taken place.
||This outing was nominated for the “Worst Remake Rip-Off or Sequel” razzie. It was generally poorly reviewed and did not make its money back. Although I approved of the greater involvement of Ken Jeong, can a film which features some gangland style executions still be called a comedy? Its concluding moments were obviously set up for another sequel, but it never happened (Well not so far). Even if you liked the other two probably give this one a miss.
