Elevator Pitch |
A Miami reporter and a black colleague return to the home town of the former to investigate a murder whose perpetrator may in fact be innocent, and who is on death row. They are assisted by the long distance girlfriend of the murderer and the young brother of the reporter, who is given the job of being their driver. Whether the possible murderer is innocent or not, he is an unstable and unpleasant man. What will happen if they succeed in getting him released? |
Content |
There are a number of steamy scenes including simulated masturbation and violent sex, but no actual nudity, although the young man spends a lot of time in his underpants. Several events in the bayous of Florida. Quite famously the young man is apparently urinated on after being stung by jellyfish. |
A View |
This was a low budget movie but even so it did not make its money back. The bayous were filmed effectively, and despite the fact that no-one liked it much I would have felt that I had got my money’s worth had I seen it in the cinema. It has enough going for it for you to watch it for nothing if you are not put off by the content. |
