Elevator Pitch |
A young couple become unemployed in New York and take off for Atlanta where he is to work for his brother. But the brother is so obnoxious that they join a hippy commune they have come across on the way. In the community there is the potential for “free love” a situation the wife seems likely to accept while the husband has more difficulty with the idea. Meanwhile developers have their eye on the community property. |
Content |
Some nudity, but none of it in a sexual context. Drugs are taken with hallucinogenic consequences. There is a lot of smart talk, some of it quite confusing because too many people are talking at once. There is a lot of discussion about sex. |
A View |
One assumes that the smart talk is supposed to make this film interesting but it does not, it is just not smart enough, but it warms up a bit when the couple fall out and then gets better when the community is threatened. Perhaps the scriptwriter realised that it just wasn’t going anywhere. Even so it can only by a watch while you are knitting or updating your Facebook page. |
