Elevator Pitch |
Mr and Mrs Smith live in a luxury suburban house and depart in separate directions daily to work in the city – but unknown to each other they are both super-assassins working for different organisations. When they are both given the same man as a target all is revealed, but then each is instructed to carry out a hit on the other. |
Content |
The Smiths carry out individual assassinations, and then attempt to assassinate each other, resulting in their house blowing up. There are a number of violent set pieces, one car chase and an unbelievable amount of gunfire. No actual nudity, no actual sex, no drink or drugs but a massive body count. |
A View |
The set pieces are impressive, but over long – on the other hand without them there is virtually no picture. A bit of Hollywood history since this was apparently when BP and AJ got together. It made a lot of money and actually is by no means the worst action film I have seen. |
