Elevator Pitch |
In order to apprehend a new villain the Anti-Villain League recruit Gru and pair him up with a female agent, Lucy. When the case appears to be solved Lucy is reassigned, and Gru finds that she remains in his mind. Meanwhile Dr Nafario has left his employment and an unknown force is kidnapping the minions, leaving Gru with only Kevin, Stuart and Bob (I think). The villain is still out there with who knows what evil plans. |
Content |
A continuous series of action sequences, involving Gru and Lucy, the minions and the children. There is the Gru transport, the villain’s headquarters, the minions in their sunny kidnapped environment and a guardian chicken which might be the star of the show. |
A View |
An absolutely terrific movie, every minute of which is fun. It cost a lot but still covered its costs on its opening weekend. We are probably all fans of the minions, and they appear at their best here. Well thought of by most of the critics, and a watch even if you have been slightly disappointed by Gru3. |
