Elevator Pitch |
A Vietnam war veteran who leads a desolute existence, gambling, drinking and consorting with a Russian prostitute accidentally becomes a baby sitter for a divorced woman who has moved in next door. The resulting friendship with the boy he looks after changes both their lives. |
Content |
Many exchanges between the mother of the boy and the vet, and the boy and the prostitute. Some women in underwear, a bit of violence. |
A View |
Typical Bill Murray fare as he plays an old grump. It appears not to have cost a lot and to have made money. Generally well thought of by the critics and so if you like a bit of sentimental stuff worth our time. |
