Selene, the super vampire, and Michael the Lycan/vampire hybrid are trying the prevent Marcus the first vampire from releasing William, the first werewolf, from his eternal captivity fearing for the future of humanity. The trail leads them to the ruins of a dark castle where they must meet their fate.
Much gunfire with automatic weapons, some hand to hand combat resulting in the dismemberment of some combatants. A lot of blood and guts as the uber-vampire spears people with its pointy batwings. Some nudity and some tastefully presented sex (much mor raunchy before editing apparently).
Despite having the plot constantly explained to me I still did not really get it, but I liked the curious mechanical systems and the gunfire and thought KB did pretty well, although nominated for a Razzi. If you liked the first of the franchise this will be tolerable.
