||A chef returning from disaster due to alcohol and drugs, takes over a restaurant in London with the objective of obtaining a a third (or three) Michelin stars.
||The chef gets the band together, spends a lot of time in the kitchen, argues and agrees, or not, with his staff. Everybody makes food and guests in the restaurant eat it.
||Generally enhances my opinion that haute cuisine is pretentious ……. (add suitable word to taste). Many critics used food related comments, particularly about binning the stuff which was no good. Why not this film they said? The fact that Gordon Ramsay was an executive producer says it all. The only saving grace was Sienna Miller who did well as the under-chef, and who was also a pretty good cook apparently.
