Elevator Pitch |
A man approaching thirty, whose partner has announced that she is pregnant, begins to have doubts about his future, particularly as his friend’s relationships appear to be in trouble. One cannot deal with the demands of marriage with a small child, another has commitment problems, a third is in love with his childhood sweetheart but the feeling is not reciprocated. Even his girfriend’s parents are in trouble. When an attractive young student hits on him he is unable to resist. |
Content |
Friends get together to talk and drink and on one occasion watch lesbian sex. Girlfriends spend a lot of time shouting and crying. Some fairly instense discussion about relationships. Quite a bit of sex, some of it quite graphic with related nudity. |
A View |
This is supposed to be a comedy, but it is not really funny. In fact the overriding emotion is one of mild distress, and if I felt sympathy for anyone it was for the “attractive student”. It did not cover its costs and was not liked by the critics. Probably one of those movies you can watch while doing something else. |
