A sophisticated assassin whose hits are programmed by a shadowy organisation, is required to carry out the termination of his mentor, and then takes that man’s son under his wing, putting his own operations and eventually his life, at risk. |
Content |
Many violent scenes with fists, hand guns, machine guns and a screwdriver. Some explosions. Some minor car chases and car crashes. Some incidental sex without the exposure of anyone’s rude bits. |
A View |
You’d think that this would be the ideal Jason Statham vehicle, but it isn’t. It seems to lack the humour evident in much of his work and in the end there is an essential difference between this and the 1972 film, which I can’t mention. |
