||In some respects a sequel to “Bruce Almighty”
||A congressman is persuaded by God to start to build an ark on a collection of vacant building lots in Virginia, he attracts animals and gradually it becomes impossible for him to continue his normal life, particularly when he can only wear biblical clothing and his wife and children leave. But is there a flood pending?
||Lots of time spent constructing the ark, and the main character having problems with animals and with his family, and then with the senator he is working for. It is all very lighthearted.
||I could be in the minority but I’m sure that I would have enjoyed this film less if the producers had been successful in recruiting Jim Carrey. It is inoffensive lightweight fun, and I’m surprised it was not liked more. But amongst the dross being stuck at you on the TV it is not a waste of your time.
