Director Gary Marshall Writer/s Katherine Fugate
Starring Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway and many others!!
Source of story An original screenplay
Elevator Pitch A set off loosely intertwined stories of singles and couples on Valentine’s Day, possible the main theme being that the owner of a flower shop finds out that his best friend (female) is being two timed by her lover, who is actually married. But many other dramas also take place.
Content A lot of people talk quite a bit, no sex or almost no implications of sex, although one couple and one woman talk about it. One young man is seen almost naked. There is one slight car crash.
A View Richard Curtis this isn’t. It goes on for an unbelievable two hours and five minutes and has an enormous cast including numerous A list actors, but it is terrible. Probably the actors got paid well for little more than an afternoon’s work in most cases, but it still cost a lot (Julia Roberts is said to have been paid $3 million for six minutes on screen). Amazingly it made a lot of money, so there might have been sequels.
