Elevator Pitch |
A rich author who compulsively must follow precise patterns in his life finds everything changes when his gay neighbour is assaulted, and he is left with the dog and his regular waitress has to stop work to care for her son. He has answers but in the end will he have to step on the cracks? |
Content |
Lots of dialogue, one violent act, some semi-nudity. Mostly inoffensive stuff verging on comedy and with some romance. |
A View |
In 1998 the leads won best actor and best actress at the Oscars and the Golden Globes. So well thought of and worth a watch if you like romances and films where the protragonists learn a lot. And you can see the attraction of being a best selling author. It does not appear that you have to do any authoring. |
