Life as We Know It

Released 2010 Rating 12A in UK
Director Greg Berlanti Writer/s Ian Deitchman, Kristin Rusk Robinson
Starring Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Josh Lucas, Sarah Burns, Melissa McCarthy
Source of story An original screenplay
Elevator Pitch When a married couple are killed in a road accident, two of their friends, one male one female, are named as guardians of their child. The named couple have already failed to get on during a blind date, so things do not look good.
Content A lot of playing with baby, people getting together with their babies, learning about how to look after babies. So some excrement involved, but unfortunately not many laughs. The mismatched couple do end up in bed together – hardly a spoiler eh!
A View Just having two good looking people in the main roles is not enough, as this film proves, and some of the lesser characters seem to have better lines, or at least deliver them better. This particularly true of the taxi driver, and the social worker, played by Sarah Burns. Don’t pay money to see it unless you particularly want to see Josh Duhamel take his shirt off.
