Very impressive sailing ships at sea, plenty of swordfighting and people swinging from ropes. An amazing sequence involving devilish mermaids, as the pirates try to capture one. |
A View |
I had not seen any of this franchise before, and found it entertaining, although a bit long. The ships at sea are great, and the actors really do their stuff. Is is said to have cost $250 million, and in the end grossed over one billion! |
