||An original screenplay – based on the original Jim Carey film.
||Odin has send Loki down to earth to recover “the mask” which has been lost, but recovered by the Avery’s Jack Russell. At a company fancy dress Avery dons the mask and turns into a wild cartoon character leading the staff in madcap dances. He also has sex with his wife and the product is a baby “born of the mask”. And Loki is still on the trail…
||Lots of cartoonish action from the father, the baby and the dog. There is cartoon violence. People are hit and blown up – including the dog – but nobody dies, or is injured.
||I had never heard of any of these actors, a bad sign, but when I looked it turns out that Traylor Howard was Monk’s assistant. Also this film got the worst reviews of any I have written about, but it was not the worst in my view. They were careful with the baby, so don’t expect too much.
