Elevator Pitch: Aesha is sent by her mum to an isolated B&B in a converted nunnery to chill out for a weekend, but we know that a month earlier a young woman was killed there by someone dressed as a nun. Aesha contacts a friend to come over and while listening to music on her iPod fails to notice an attractive neighbour being dispatched outside. Thereafter  she spends time at the front door conversing with someone we can see is a figure in nun’s clothing. When she leaves the house briefly the friend arrives and enters but so does the nun, so the two of them must face up to the figure in the end.

Content: The IMDb Content saw a bit of sex, but I don’t remember it. There is definitely no nudity, and Aesha starts to mix a drink once, but drops it on the floor. There is a constant reference to a video showing a boy and what might be a nun’s hand, the dates and times change on it, and once it appears to run backwards. The nun kills two young women, slashing them with a knife. Aesha goes to a church sometimes, but spends most of the film talking at the front door with the nun figure. Once the nun get in the knives are out again.

A View. This film fulfils all my criteria for  DON’T SEE. The plot is completely stupid, the acting is poor, the reveal when it occurs is no surprise and the resolution does not really exist. The editing also results some unlikely events to take place, with the protagonist magically moving from place to place at times, and at one time the nun figure and the person who turns out to be the nun are visible at virtually the same time. I felt sorry for the team who made this. Even a bit of work could have made it watchable, but it’s not, so it is a DON’T SEE.

Additional Info: It is said that the name was changed from “The Watcher” to “The Bad Nun” to coincide with the release of “The Nun” a Conjuring Universe film.
