Elevator Pitch |
A couple who are on their honeymoon are hiking on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai when they hear that there have been murders carried out by a couple, and that the murderers might be on their island. They meet and join forces with another couple, and have briefly been in contact with another pair who seemed to be unpleasantly aggressive. Contact with the outside world is limited. Are they safe, or are the killers amongst them? |
Content |
A lot of hiking in the island scenary which is very beautiful. Quite a lot of tension as the couple are uncertain about the people they are with. Some violence. Gunshots and stabbings. Some almost nudity while swimming is done in the jungle. |
A View |
It is difficult to say much about this movie without revealing the denoument. It was quite well thought of by the critics, possibly because the actors do a good job, mostly against type. It is essential for the progress of the plot that not much happens for a long time, so if you sit it out you might find it worthwhile. |
