Elevator Pitch |
A military contractor, well known on Hawaii, returns to negotiate a deal with the native population for lease of land to build an airforce base. There he meets an old flame and becomes involved with the female Air Force captain assigned to look after him. |
Content |
The hero discusses things with his billionaire boss, he meets with the Hawaiian council, visits the house of his old flame and talks smartly with the Air Force captain assigned to him. There is romance but no nudity or sex, and just a bit of drinking, and a glimpse of the Sealaunch mobile satellite launching facility. |
A View |
I’m afraid that even the combined charms of Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams could not save this, once more fulfilling the maxim that putting beautiful people in a movie does not guarantee success. The plot lurches from plodding to preposterous. If you are a fan of any of the stars you would be better to watch them in something else. |
