A young lawyer who is campaigning to prevent the destruction of a Coney Island community centre is almost accidentally hired by the boss of the company intending to carry out the destruction as part of a redevelopment. She goes to work for the man and becomes an essential part of his organisation, to the point that she must resign to regain control of her own life. But is that really what she wants? |
Content |
A lot of smart talk in a variety of expensive locations, including the developer’s divorce negotiations. The attractive couple bicker a bit and are involved in a couple of poor jokes, but really no sex, no nudity a bit or drinking and no drugs. |
A View |
But I thought quite a bit of fun, the two stars effortlessly doing what they do best, being very, very charming. The critics were not really in favour, wanting more from them but I’ve seen some terrible romcoms so this goes to pretty near the top of the pile for me. |
