Elevator Pitch |
A mercenary in the pay of Mexican guerillas rescues a young woman who is about to be raped by three vagrants in the desert, but when she gets dressed she turns out to be a nun (maybe). The two team up and after a number of adventures come to the point of their quest, the fort manned by the French invaders. |
Content |
Terrific atmosphere as the mercenary and then he and the nun ride across the desert. Some shooting, some scenes in ruined buildings and adobe villages, and a few explosions. No nudity, no sex but quite a bit of drinking. |
A View |
This is an entertaining use of CEs new fame as the man with no name and it is good fun and really well filmed. At the beginning we see a fish swimming across a river and as the camera follows it we see the man riding along the opposite river bank – inspired. If you are a fan of either of the stars or enjoy a bit of a period piece it is worth your time. |
