Elevator Pitch After time in a North Korean prison Bond’s credentials with MI6 are removed, but he believes that he has been sold out by a mole and so embarks on an international hunt for his betrayer, on the way taking on an evil billionaire and picking up an attractive female CIA operative.
Content A whole load of set pieces the more memorable of which were a duel in a fencing club, a car chase in an Icelandic ice palace and a shoot out in an enormous cargo aircraft. There is drinking and implied sex but nothing explicit.
A View This was almost approved of by Rotten Tomatoes and I liked it, maybe because Pierce Brosnan is a pretty good Bond I think. If there is a fault it is that the writers are not satisfied with one climax, they had to have two which is just a bit irritating. If you enjoy a Bond outing you will know what to expect.
