Elevator Pitch
In 19th century New Mexico a religious leader, with a number of female followers, controls an area of pastureland randomly killing interlopers. He and one of his bodyguards have killed two travellers resulting in the arrival of a new fearless sheriff and when the priest kills the huband of a former prostitute and rapes her she sets out on the path of vengeance.
Content
There are various interactions between the priest and the public as well as some between him and the new sheriff, and the former prostitute. The sheriff investigates the killings, determining that the priest is the perpetrator, but when the woman puts on a new dress and gets out a Colt 45 things really liven up. So a lot of violence, pretty graphic sex and some nudity.
A View
I really like revenge films and so for me this fitted the bill. It was curiously under reviewed, with limited information on IMDb but if a straightforward western in rugged country floats your boat it could be for you.
